Hi!
Glad to see that you are interested in knowing more about me. Of course, I already explained my passion for writing and love for motorsports, so I will shut my mouth about those topics here. What else is there to say about me? Well, I' m going to honest, apart from a huge interest in sports there is not much to me. So, I would like to dedicate this part to talk about my other interests, that is still sports but no motorsports.
When I was younger, I used to watch and love football. My first memory watching live sports was the 2014 FIFA world cup, and ever since my interest in the world of football grew. The last five years of my life however, have had me shifting my attention from football to any sport but football. I picked up the hobby of cycling, and therefore started watching and diving into the world that surrounds that sport. Along with my growing love for cycling, I also developed massive knowledge on motorsports. You may wonder why I am doing cycling for a sport when I say there are so many other sports I love. The answer is simple as to me, being Dutch meant that cycling was just a tad more accessible than getting into than racing cars!
Other than that, I am just excited to explore and develop some craftsmanship in website building, graphic design, and most importantly storytelling on this webpage!

Alright, I promised to not talk about motorsports again here, but hey, we are all here because that interest unites us anyway. So, to wrap up this page I would like to talk you through my history with the sport.
The first Grand Prix I watched was the 2017 Mexican Grand Prix. Yes, Verstappen won his third race that day, but somehow my interest was immediately attracted by Ferrari. So, watching my first full season of Grand Prix racing I supported Sebastian Vettel in his title fight with Lewis Hamilton. Slowly but surely, the dynamic between these two drivers became so fascinating to me. This mainly derived from the visible the respect these two drivers shared for one another, yet the fans of the drivers could not be more polarized. Therefore, during the 2018 season I developed a soft spot for Lewis Hamilton as well.
It wasn't until 2020, when everything locked down due to the global pandemic that I started to expand my knowledge of Formula 1, and soon enough of motorsports as a whole. With so much time spent at home, I watched all sorts of racing content and mainly got excited about MotoGP and Indycar alongside Formula 1.
Finally, of course Formula 1 will be my main field of interest throughout the posts, but sporadically I will dive into other categories of the sport too!
